Consultation

Health and Fitness Consultation - During this initial visit, you will collaborate with your trainer by sharing important health history information.  At this time the trainer will conduct several important assessments.  The health history information and assessment findings, in conjunction with your personal goals, will help your trainer to develop an appropriate and effective program for you.

What to expect during a Health and Fitness consultation…

Comprehensive Review of Health History and Goals - During the Peak Fitness Track consultation, we will take considerable time to discuss your health history as well as your current physical state and what you are hoping to accomplish.

Then, the following assessments are performed during the consultation:

  • Weight and Body Composition Analysis
  • Anthropometric Measurements
  • Cardiovascular Assessment
  • Core Strength Assessment
  • Balance Assessment
  • Functional Movement Assessment
  • Gait Analysis

Finally, client goals, trainer recommendations, training options and packages are reviewed.

Please contact a Peak Performance and Wellness professional to arrange your personal Fitness and Wellness Consultation.  We look forward to helping you reach your fitness goals!

Programs are developed for each individual based on client goals and assessments.  Each program progressively addresses the numerous components of fitness including:

  • Muscular Imbalances
  • Postural Concerns

  • Core Stabilization and Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Balance
  • Joint Stability

Small Group and Partner Training - Multiple individuals with the same goals, who have similar training experience can be paired or grouped for a convenient, less expensive, motivating way to train.  All individuals need to have a consultation prior to involvement in group training.

Fitness Training Classes - Peak offers a group setting while maintaining an appropriate trainer to client ratio.  Group training provides a motivating atmosphere where comrodery and competition raises the level of effort and performance.  Classes are based on levels of training experience.  All individuals must be prequalified by a trainer to change levels of training.

  • Level I – Endurance-based training classes that emphasize balance, core stabilization, and muscular endurance.  Great class for general fitness clients of all ages.
  • Level II – This level incorporates moderate to complex exercises in all planes of motion along with lower repetition ranges, faster rep speed, and more unstable environments.
  • Level III – High level training class for experienced individuals.  This class incorporates complex movement patterns, power and strength exercises, and intense anaerobic conditioning drills.  Bring a towel…
  • Conditioning (Level I, II, & III) – Turn your metabolism into a furnace with this full-body, calorie burning workout.  Shuttle runs, plyometrics, medicine ball exercises, and rope training are all fair game in this “boot camp” style class.  Our trainers put strict emphasis on maintaining proper movement patterns when exercise intensity increases.
