Adult Training Classes
Peak offers a group training setting while maintaining an appropriate trainer to client ratio. Group training provides a motivating atmosphere where comrodery and competition raises the level of effort and performance. Various classed are offered on a weekly basis. We will incorporate different levels of intensity, modes of exercise, and target goals. A rating system is used to make sure each individual is in a class specific to their needs. The "levels" of classes are based on Peak training experience, exercise technique, and conditioning. Prior to taking a class, each new client must set up a Health and Movement Screening where they will be prequalified for an appropriate level while learning a proper biomechanical approach to exercise. All existing clients must be prequalified for an appropriate level by their trainer.
Class Level Descriptions
- Level I – Endurance-based training classes emphasizing multi-joint stabilization, core endurance, and full body resistance training. Great class for general fitness clients and endurance sport athletes of all ages.
- Level II – This level incorporates more complex exercises in all planes of motion along with heavier resistance, faster rep speed, and more functional environments. Conditioning intensity increases at this level emphasizing more anaerobic (interval) training vs. aerobic in level I.
- Level III – High level training class for experienced individuals. These classes incorporate exercises with a high level of difficulty such as high intensity plyometrics, olympic lift variations, power and strength lifts, shuttle runs and sprints, med ball throws, rope training, sled pulling/pushing and anything else we can think of that hurts your feelings.
Pricing
All classes are $30 each. Packages of (10) classes can be purchased for a discounted price of $25 each ($250 total).
All new clients must have a 1hr Health and Movement Screening ($75) prior to joining a class.
